The Serbian First League is a professional football league under the jurisdiction of the Football Association of Serbia, serving as the second-tier league of the Serbian Super League. The league consists of 16 teams. The top six teams in the league advance to the championship playoff group, while the bottom ten teams are relegated to the relegation group.     In the championship playoff and relegation playoff, points are calculated based on regular-season points plus playoff points.
