The Turkish First League operates on a double round-robin scoring system, with a total of 38 rounds. In each match, the winner receives 3 points, the loser receives 0 points, and both teams earn 1 point in case of a draw. At the end of the season, teams are ranked based on their accumulated points; in the event of a tie in points, goal difference determines the ranking. The top two teams in the league will participate in next season’s Turkish Super League, while teams ranked third through seventh will compete in promotion playoffs. Teams ranked fourth through seventh will first go through a promotion preliminary round, with the winners advancing to a promotion final against the third-place team. The bottom four teams will be relegated directly.
